About Resident Home/RHA

Our Mission: providing quality residential services and support to citizens with developmental disabilities

RHA Living
One of our earliest homes, our Third Street Ladies Home, was replaced in 2010 with a new accessible home in Clayton. The home is owned by Miami Valley In-Ovations (MVIO), with RHA continuing to provide services to the ladies who have been together for more than two decades, first at Third Street and now in their new home.

Resident Home Association (RHA) is a private, nonprofit 501 (c) (3) agency that provides lifelong person-centered, community-based residential services (homes) and other services to people with autism, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities in Dayton, Ohio.

Our services are licensed and certified by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. We are members of the Ohio Provider Resource Association and the CREST Network.

Resident Home Association (RHA) is a founding partner of Partners For Community Living. In 2001 we formed our partnership with Choices In Community Living (CICL) so that together we could better serve our residents and clients by maximizing and conserving current resources (fundraising and shared services), building resources for the future (endowment), and providing quality of life services and support that we could not provide as separate agencies (shared volunteer program).

Together we share common missions and the values of integrity, excellence, humanity, responsibility and respect in providing services for people with developmental disabilities.

Board of Trustees
RHA is guided by a policy-making board of volunteers representing families, DD organizations, businesses, and the community.Gary Newton, President
