Giving Tuesday

December 3, 2019

Whether it’s the widespread destruction and dislocation after tornadoes like those in Dayton, Ohio in May, 2019 or whether it’s one home with a short-term or long-term emergency, the safety and health of more than 400 people with intellectual/developmental disabilities is our number one priority!

Our 2019-2020 fundraising priority is to install in-home generators for five Choices In Community Living homes and in-home generators for four Resident Home Association homes, and other emergency equipment. The generators will be strategically and geographically located to provide ongoing support for individuals who may be temporarily displaced during an emergency to maintain as much continuity and consistency as possible.

This was damage to one of our homes during the May, 2019 Dayton tornadoes.

Our primary funding source (Medicaid) does not cover this type of assistance, so we need you to help keep those we serve safe and comfortable!
